Social Media Strategist / Marketing Assistant

Reports to: Marketing Manager 

We’re searching for an experienced Social Media Strategist / Marketing Assistant to help grow the digital presence of our brand.

If you're interested in creating social media campaigns, and implementing digital marketing strategies look no further! You will be responsible for creating relationships with social media influencers, brainstorming social media campaigns, producing marketing videos, advertising graphics, e-commerce campaigns and more.

Job Responsibilities :

You will be working directly with the Marketing Manager on the following:

  • Develop and manage social media influencer campaigns - Develop campaigns and establish ongoing relationships with key social media influencers to get product reviews, increase brand awareness and purchases.
  • Create quality content for all Callaway brands – Develop quality content worthy of publication. Write blogs, develop graphic design content, create videos, leverage quality content to educate and increase brand awareness.
  • Manage all social media accounts – put together a strategy for managing all brand-related social media accounts, and increase our following, reach, and engagement. Monitor activity continuously, track metrics. Leverage #hashtags to increase reach and spread awareness.
  • Stay educated – keep up with the latest social media trends, and industry changes, adapt and evolve accordingly.
  • Various others – as one of the key members of the brand management and marketing team, you’ll get involved with many different aspects of building and growing our brand.

Ideal Candidate :

  • B.A/ B.S required, preferably in Communications, Online Marketing, or Social Media.
  • 2-4 years of social media experience preferred.
  • Excellent copywriting and copyediting skills required.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator required.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, etc. - preferred

Experience marketing and promoting wine related consumer products preferred.

  • Must be an expert with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, You Tube, etc.
  • Strong self-management skills.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Must work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects.
  • A positive attitude is a must.
  • A genuine commitment to other people, and to the success of the organization.


Job Type: Part-time      Pay: Hourly DOE
