2015 Special Selection Grenache

In the Southern Rhone Valley of France, Grenache often 'plays well with others' in famous blends like Chateauneuf-du-Pape; but here, in our single variety selection, it has the limelight all to itself. Start with wild berry, strawberry and bright cherry aromas, twinges of sweet vanilla and a fresh, light earthiness. Add in some deceptively smooth tannin, a bit of pomegranate and red currant, then finish with deep strawberry preserves, red licorice and sprinkles of nutmeg.
 
75% Grenache, 25% Cinsault
Aging: 100% in oak barrels for 18 months.
